This number is indeed from MoveOn.org. If you go to their website, navigate to contact, FAQ, click on "Someone called me, saying they were from MoveOn.org...", you'll see. Or got to link below, if site allows it.

Just looked up Moveon.org site, it really is their number. Will answer next time to be removed from the call list.

This is indeed Moveon.org Unless, of course, somebody is spoofing their number. This number called and did not leave a message, nor did their organization name appear on the caller ID. It just said Los Angeles. I find hangups annoying even if it's somebody I might talk to. So, call them back at that number, or email them at donotcall@moveon.org and they will stop calling you. I can remove one of my precious call blocks now!
