Someone called and said that he was from windows support and to visit a web site and click on a link. After persistence he gave his phone number. This was very suspicious. He was a bit pushy. I looked this number up and it is from the Los Angeles area.

This just happen to me as well. The number they called from was 1278565467 and told me to call them back as the same number posted. They knew the name of my wifi network and wanted to help fix a Windows 8 problem that required me to give them my license number. Watch out for this group they know more than we think.

Some rude Indian sounding person calling from 323-315-0406 continues to harass me and refuses to stop calling.

Jack (323.315-0406) calls every week trying to gain remote access to my computer.  He states that he is calling from Microsoft Windows and they are receiving messages from my computer that is is infected with a malicious or Malayian (not certain - difficult to understand due to thick accent)  virus.  He states,  "If not fixed your computer may crash at any moment".   "Are you sitting in front of your computer?"
