told them I reported them earlier to the FTC which I did about 6 months ago - called them a scumbag ant told them to answer me in writing so I can send to the proper authorities. Have not heard from them yet!

I received a call from this number with the following message:  "For violation of the federal truth in lending. Now there was the morning on you rname and we have also sent the local sheriff to your doorstep.  I'll find you now before we proceed further.  I do all the legal formality.  I want you to return the call back on my department number 320-328-75726 (notice not the right number) I repeat it is 323-287-5726.  Now if you don't return the call.  Then one more job on your name for hiding from this case.  I doing this crime intentionally as the situation badly unfolds on you.  Goodbye and have a nice day.  Good bye.

I got the same call, an Indian man, refusing to give name, calling for Rebecca (the person that had my phone number previously). I told him I'm not Rebecca and asked my number be removed from database. He hung up on me. I called back 5 times, asking to speak to a supervisor, asking name of company, etc. They hung up every time. Jerks.

PS. The person Rebecca that used to have my phone number, gets calls ALL THE TIME. I've complained to Verizon about it. Does anyone know if I have any recourse? I get calls daily for her. Payday loans mostly, but other creditors as well. I suspect she still gives my phone number.
