Jack Lewis from the U. S. Treasury called. He said his Federal Badge Number is 11264.

He lied.  It's just another IRS scammer trying to part you from your hard-earned money.  Block the number.

BTW, this number is a Broadvox-CLEC SMSEnabled Mobile phone in Los Angeles, CA!

Said  that his name is David Johnson.  Called my home and left a message stating that he was from the Department of the Treasury and that someone was trying to take my tax return.  I was to call him back immediately.  He has an accent possibly from India.  Probably a scam.

Had a message from the Department of Legal Affairs saying they were calling about an enforcement action against me.  Curious and knowing there are no enforcement actions against me, I called back and got a person with an Indian accent who asked what number I had been called at, then they verified my address and said I have an enforcement action against me.  Unsure if they simply had the wrong person, I let him know he had the wrong person and he told me I should wait for the police to arrive and hung up on me.  Clearly this was nonsense and a waste of time.  Total scam.
