Recieved a text that read " How's your Thursdsy coming along?  Are you pushing it or is it pushing you?

I'm glad I paid $.15 for that.  I ignored it, I have no idea who's number that is

Received the same message from the same number (with a 'haha' at the end). Glad you posted; thought maybe I lost someone's number.

I've had at least one text a week from email addresses or unknown numbers with weird messages lately. Last week it was 'you have a message from Ava at ava.caseread.com' from email at mmountain.com.  

No idea where they're getting my number; ignoring them all.

Received text message from this number at 12:43 p.m.

"The food is so dry... You should cover the bill since you reccommended this restaurant! Haha... What are you doing!?"

Responded at 12:45 a.m. with:
"I believe you have the wrong number. Sorry. Have a good day."

No response was received.

Any idea why they would send these in the first place? Besides being annoying, are they trolling for legit numbers like email spam - if you reply then you've told them that your email address is legit and they send more?

Interested to know if you stop getting messages or start getting more, or if automated calls start or something, since you replied. Otherwise, I don't get it.  Unless next is the 'is your refrigerator running?' text.  ;)

Texted: "I'm ready for this crazy movie to get done--everyone said its good but already a half hour into it, its draggin out @ boring me! LOL. What R you doing?"

I had been waiting to hear from people in the LA area so I thought maybe it was them accidentally texting me, so I replied to see who it was but no response... hopefully nothing weird happens now!..
