I received multiple calls from this number. I let them go through to voicemail. The person calling had a really heavy hindu accent and stated his last name was "Landers", Yeah RIGHT!!! He then proceeded to advise me to call back because there was a warrant for my arrest and that my home address was under federal investigation. ooookkkkaaaaay! Not gonna lie, they had me thinking there for a minute. Then I snapped out of it and called back the number, which was indeed to the LA county Sheriffs. The woman that answered continued on to explain that that call was a scam and that all they wanted to do was take peoples money.

Just got the same call. I loved that the officer's name is Jack Jones! I told person on the other line to, "have that piece of Sh*t call me personally he wants to get things sorted." He hung up.

Same thing. I got a call on my landline supposedly from IRS, and a pending lawsuit, so call 202-754-8372 to avoid being arrested: I phoned him back, and spoke a few choice words, then he exploded! Then, they called my cell phone from 323-267-4800, which is suppose to be a sheriff's office downtown Los Angeles, but it was them, again! Beware!!!

Yes, I just got a call today. February 19, 2016 at approximately 10:25am West Coast time.
Apparently, a complaint was received about me by an "Officer Michael Black" and that if I did not resolve the issue I would go to jail.
Luckily, I didn't pick up. It was a voice mail left on my phone. Yes, it sounded like a thick Indian accent.
They had the LA Sheriff number on caller idea.
Be careful folks. Even though it's a scam, it's still scary to get a phone call like that. If I didn't do my research online, and if I didn't get to discover this community, someone might think that it's real.
