At 6:15 pm on a Wednesday night 9/2/15:  Caller ID "CELL PHONE".   "Hi, this is Focus Group NW.      If you live in L.A. county and would like to get paid $165.00 and participate in a very fun and interesting opinion survey group taking place in L.A. on Wednesday, September 9 call 323-253-6370.  This focus group survey is 100% research and there is no solicitation. Once again you will be paid $160.00 for participating."

I checked, and the 800notes website reports similar calls from two other phone numbers: 760-452-6923 and 760-452-6923.  I did locate this company on the Internet.  Sounds phony, especially since the caller ID read "cell phone".  I did call the number back.  It rang once and then total silence.  I tried one more time and the same thing occurred.
