Received the call at 6:00am...an automated recording said that it was from the IRS and I needed to return the call immediately to avoid further action against me. The call originated from LA, California. It seems strange that I would be getting a call from the IRS's LA office when I have never lived nor have any business or social ties to that area.

Same exact thing just happened to me. Thinking it must be a scam..

Recorded woman's voice claiming IRS agent. The IRS NEVER CALLS, they send letters. Ignore!
