says i have been selecterd to receive a FREE Best buy gift card. To go to a bestbuy web adress within 48 hrs to claim gift and then has the STOP TO CANCEL at the end.

Spam text message on my phone that cost me 20 cents. Getting sick of these type of text messages, these messages are taking up all of my money on my phone and subtracting my phone minutes. Received some stupid message. The message was: "Do you need some extra FUNDS$? You can easily get  $1500 today! just visit www.EasyDollar123.com to get started. Write "NO" to end. These ba@&^%s send these messages for free from a computer and then you get charged. I reported to my phone company as spam. The cell phone companies really don't do anything about it because they are making money off the spam texts. I have no way to block these numbers unless I sign up for some service that costs me more money per month. I am already on a strict budget and I should not have to sign up & spend my money in order to stop the text message.

Got the exact same Best Buy message. Mine had the web address of www.BESTBUY.p12.mobi in it. When I checked on February 25, 2012 'p12.mobi' was a parked domain.

Any phone company that doesn't do anything whatsoever to combat stuff like that, become scammers/spammers themselves. Call the text in to your cellular service provider to have the charges for the text removed. They CAN and WILL do that if you insist on it.
