I live in michigan. I put an item on craigs list.  I got an email from this person (calif. Area code) the email was strange as i put my cell number in for contact info. She told me she definitely wanted the item and for me to please delete the listing. She stated she was hard of hearing and couldn't call, but to text at the above number.  She said she would send a certified check from her bank and arrange for the item to be picked up when i received said check.  She went as far as telling me she would pay an extra $50 for my holding on to the item till the money arrived.  She asked for my full name, address etc....didn't feel right so I never responded
