I have received 2 calls on my cell phone from this number. I refuse to answer it. Question is how to get them to stop calling or report them. Don't answer this number.

Halstead Financial My number is on the do not call list but they won't take my number off their list. Scammers!!!

They called my cellphone than transfered me to a women asking me to verify the last 4 of my ssn. I told them I will not give that information to them. They said they had my ssn they just need me to verify the last 4. I told them no. She said is that correct and I told her no. She hung up on me. And I than got another call from this number from a guy asking the same. I told home I will not verify that information. And hung up on him.

Called me and left a message. When I called them back Purcell at ex 5004 answers asks to confirm the last 4 of my SS# I told them I would not confirm anything until I knew what the company name is that Halstedt was representing. He kept talking over me until I told him that I was officially recording the call in accordance with the Attorney Generals office as I know that they are scammers (I have no loans other than a student loan that I pay like clock work). So he hung up on me.  I called them back and got Purcell again but now his name was Anthony. He hung up on me. I called them back again and they answered I heard a female in the back tell the guy who answered to hang up on me and he did. I called again and was told they had no reason to call me as my number was not in their data base. I called again and got Mike and he wanted me to confirm my SS and I told him no. Asked him other than Halstedt Financial who was he representing he told me he was with Halstedt. I said good for you now what OTHER company do you represent and he told me to enjoy my life and hung up.  Total SCAM!!!  They had already tried this with my husband so I knew how to play the game.  What a bunch of as$holes.
