I received a spam text from this number “get 5 free tickets to invitation only comedy this Sunday at 9PM…Reply STOP to end future invites”. Do not reply to this text! Your number will be added to a list and you will receive more unwanted spam.
According to my research, the company is WhoisGuard Inc located in Panama. If you go to their website via the link in their text (allstarshow.standupcomedy) you will be redirected to another fake site at events.eventzilla. The owner of the websites is using a service to hide their identity (so they can’t be traced).
I have added their number to my SMS/MMS reject list.
