This phone number is affiliated with an ‘advance fee’ lottery scam.  That means the perpetrator sent his intended victim a letter proclaiming he or she won a lottery; a lottery in which the victim never bought a ticket.  Accompanying the letter is a check in an amount usually between $2,000 and $5,000.  The check is enclosed for the purpose of paying the handling, processing, clearance fees and or taxes.  The intended victim is frequently requested to contact a claims agent for instructions on how to claim his winnings.  This particular phone number is associated with the Worldwide Trust Inc, and the claims agent is Jeffery Smith.  This is a FRAUD, do not respond to this letter, and contact your local police agency.
