I received a text message offering a bogus $1000 best buy gift card prize for a contest I had never heard of.  The text message originated from (321)501-6705 and gave me a prize code to enter if I went to a specific web address, not a Best Buy address.
The address, which didn't work, went to a website called Bitly, which serves as an url redirecting service.
Not suspicious at ALL.
Although I don't think it's relevant, Bitly is apparently owned by the Libyan government.
