Tries to scam me into selling my item I am selling on Craigslist..IN MINNESOTA!

This number also tried to scam me out if an item I posted on craigslist. From georgia. I didn't think anything of it because it was a text message. But when I said I had lowered the price from 1000 to 800, he replied he would pay 950. That's when I knew something was wrong. I also said cash only and he asked for my paypal account and email address. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS.

I had the exact same thing happen to me!

I have something listed on Craigslist for $1000. They wanted me to pay a shipper and my price through PayPal. They sent a fictitious e-mail with a fake transaction number. I called PayPal and they confirmed it is a SCAM. PayPal showed no payment was made, it shows up right away. I reported it to the fraud dept at PayPal.
