Credit company calling to ask if I wanted to lower my interest rates. Asked for balances on my credit cards, if amount is over $2,000 and if interest rate is higher than 10%. I called no. and an automated voice stated "United Family Services." Woman calling stated her name was Maria Randazzo at ext. 134. When I called the no. again and pressed ext. 134, it was a voice mail for someone by the name of Craig. I did give credit card no. for one account that has a maximum of $500 limit. She asked for the last four digits of my social security no. which I did not give.  She said she was calling for a credit company for people to lower their interest. We got disconnected after 40 minutes. Didn't get a call back. She asked if I wanted to be transferred to a representative who would explain things more in depth.  Received call at home but told caller to phone me at work. However, she didn't say the name of the company so that's an obvious clue that I didn't use good judgement.

Reginald called and wanted to know if I was interested in lowering my interest rate on my credit card..told him my husband handles this type of information....gave me the following number to have him call this evening.....321-422-5568 ext. 130.....leery of this call anyone else receive one....when I checked my phone for caller i.d.  the number came up as 407-999-9999......

Received a call yesterday from 407-000-9876, claiming to be "credit card services."  The lady I spoke with, Carolyn, was offering to reduce interest rate to 6.9%.  Asked for my credit card number, expiration date, and last 4 digits of my social security number.  Didn't have all info handy, so they called back today from number 321-422-5568.  I told her I changed my mind, and she hung up.  I belive I was scammed!  I can't believe I gave them any information.  Beware!  I called and reported my card as lost/stolen yesterday as soon as I hung up with them.

I recieved a call from the number 321 422 5568 and the gentleman said his name was Anthony trying to get a lower interests rate on my mastercards and visas only. I was curious so i gave him info but only on cards close to limit. he stated i needed at least 1000-1500 dollars available so i told him i didnt have any cards with that though i did and he hung up.

I had received a phone call on Feb.12, 2009 from a phone no.407-000-1245 saying that they could lower my credit card APR. They ask for your credit card no. and experation date and the 3 digits on the back of your card and they also want to know if your card is almost maxed out because they charge you $995.00 to get your credit rate lowered.  They say that they will send you a pkg. by UPS within 7 -10 days.  Well today Feb.19,2009 I got a call from 321-422-5568 wanting to know if I got my pkg.yet and I said no.  Both numbers that I got a call from said to call 877-446-5101 if I have any questions.  I asked both parties that I talked to what Company they are with and they said Continental Financial Services from Cassleberry,Fl. I called my cc company and they said that this is a scam.  I checked with BBB and they said that there is no result for 'Continental Financial Services within Florida'.  BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE!
