This phone has been used to ask for ransom money .
The scammers tell you that your child is in an accident and they need a western union transfer to bring them to hospital.You are asked to keep the line open until transfer is done.Unnerved mothers follow the instructions and pay.
Reported to miami police.April 2012.
These calls are not pranks.
Calls seem to come from a jail in Pto.Rico.
The following number in Orlando is also involved in the scam 7876646932

Just got the same phone call and it is a scam. They told me the same exact story but and when I started question the guy stuttered got annoyed.  Call Miami dad police and report this so other innocent moms...thanks 5/5/12
