A lady claiming her name is Wanda Hill called me from a 314 area code but gave me this number as her call back. She said she works for Cowen & Phillips. Someone called my mother in law in CT and got her all upset stating they were an investigator and left a case #. Wanda told me today that I will be charged with bank fraud and blah blah blah. She claimed I defrauded a bank that I don't even have an acct with anymore. She said these are felony charges and I have never heard of them throwing someone in jail for an unpaid loan. And I don't even owe this money. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office for my state and the FTC.  Someone needs to be able to stop these people.

Just received another call but this time was from 305-400-9597, yesterday was from 843-214-2600. Says she is from Pretrial processing settlement group and I have a civil suit against me from Suntrust Bank and involves Pech Mgt group.  Told her why doesn't my bank call me and let me know themselves.  Told me they are settling for them and that I owe 768.14 and had to pay right away or it will go to court and another 1500.00 will be added on to the civil suit.  this is from July 2010.  Asked why haven't I been informed by now why wait 5yrs later.  Needless to say I told her I was not paying anything and will be calling by bank.  Then she gives me number to call her back at 321-328-0503.  Her name is Linda Hill.  I called my bank Fraud department and told them what she told me and was informed that no bank will go with a 3rd party to collect money they would do it themselves. And not to listen to them they are scammers.
So sick of these damn people trying to scam everyone.  They need to be stopped!!!

just recieved a call this morning from Michael Hawkins pretrial processing....called asking for my husband ...son said he was deceased and then asked for me and gave him reference number for me to all call back...orginal call from 305-400-9597...said to call back to 321 328 0503...........

A woman called saying she was calling for mesa financial to set up payments for a loan from 2011.they said I owed the lenders and they were ready to persue me

Phone calls, emails, texts, & faxes are NOT an official method of informing you.  If they call again, demand WRITTEN proof of the ""debt"" that is MAILED to you (expect excuses) and they then have 5 days to comply per the FDCPA.

If they had a summons, you would not be warned.  Servers arrive without warning,.
