I was called from this number where the caller stated she was "Tammi Mark", at ext 236, and her ID # was 1083.  She said she represented the company "Card Member Services".  She said she was calling to lower my credit card bills to a single digit interest rate on any of my cards that exceeded 11% or higher.  Whe I became sceptical, I simply pretended to put her on hold (to look for the card that matched closest to what Tammi descibed) but instead I hung up the phone.  Within seconds Tammi called back and commented that we must have gotten disconnected when I put her on hold.  But, when I began to question her regarding the "Card Memeber Services", Tammi quickly hung up the phone.  When I tried to call the number back, I could never get a ring tone...it was like the number didn't exist.

This guy called wanting to lower our interest rates on our credit cards from this number. I told him to put me on the no call list and he said I was stupid and one did not exist. He refused to give me his name and would not let me speak to a manager. He argued with me for several minutes about the existing law until I became frustrated and hung up. He then called back and told my husband he wanted to [***] me and other perverted things. My husband told him to quit harrassing us and hung up. I believe these people are con artist trying to get credit card information so they can scam you. Be careful and weary of these calls.
