Calls frequently- many times a day, every day

This is a public forum for people who receive unknown/spam/scam calls.  This site cannot add you to any do not call list - you will have to tell the callers yourself.

Been getting calls from this number twice a day for a few weeks.  We don't answer.  Adding them to our blocked number list.  Folks, look in your phone company's directory to see if they offer "selective call block."  It could cost a couple of dollars a month but can be a sanity saver!  Our company has a limit of 32 numbers, so I keep an index card with the numbers we've blocked, the date they we block the number and the probable caller i.e. "DirecTV sales" or "pollsters" from the info we get on this site.  If my list ever gets full, I can select older blocked numbers from a few years ago to safely remove from the list to make room if needed.

Sad evidence of how our FCC / FTC have been underfunded and understaffed to where six years of complaints about this number have failed to get rid of them? Many get spoofed calls where the caller ID number has no connection with who is really calling you, but here, apparently, folks are actually returning the call and getting through to someone, which would seem to make tracking them down easy.
 Have seen one clear example where a spoofed number appeared as a legitimate business, but that businesses website listed an entirely different number, suggesting the whole point was to generate ill will toward that business. Nothing is as it seems, with these junk calls.
