Got a srtrange text saying that I had expressed interest in oil/gas lease, asking me to text OIL for more info...I never expressed any interest, nor do I have any interest. Don't know what it about.

I got the same message. It says:
You expressed interest in oil & gas leases for sale, 300+ ft pay, 25K minimum. Drilling programs available. Billion+ barrel potential. 4 more info, text, OIL.

Thinking it was a joke, I mistakably texted them back, saying "who is this?" But now, They might have my number in some sort of system. Who is it?? If I have a charge on my phone bill from this, I hope they pay for it.

Received same message and am just going to delete it.  I have heard about people in the past that try to trick you into allowing them to call out from your phone by dialing certain buttons and then they charge up a slew of calls and charges on 'your dime'...sheesh...being on the "Do Not Call" list can't protect you from this kind of crap.

U expressed interest in oil & gas leases......
