This number appears on my caller id as Iowa Call several times a day and calls again several times every evening.  Don't answer most of the time, but when I do, there is only a dead line.  This has been going on for a solid week == who is it?

We have been getting about 10 calls a day from this number, and it started about a week ago as well. No one is on the line when I answer it either.

I, too, have been receiving 10+ calls a day from this number.  I finally answered, today, and got someone on the other end of the line.  He said it was an indie survey company.  I explained that I was annoyed with the number of calls, and asked to be erased from their list.  He apologized (explained that it is an automatic dialing system, so if you don't answer after 2-3 rings, it automatically disconnects the call...or hangs up, thus nobody on the line when you pick up), and said he would take my name and number off the list.  As to whether he really will or not,  I don't know.  I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

Calls roughly every 15 minutes for a total of five so far this eve. No way am I answering any 00's
