Received a call from this number and they did not reply then hung up. I called back and it is a debt collector by the name of "Tech Collect."  My debt was valid so I was not being scammed. However best advice, ALWAYS double check before paying an old debt. You may not owe it and they may be a scam or may be mistaken. Hope this helps.

Company is called Tech Collect, a debt collector. Mine was they called was for a past dental bill.

Received a call yesterday evening at 7:31 pm central from this number. No voicemail was left. Because there were no reports identifying them, I blocked my own number and then called them. That's how I learned this is yet another collection agency by the name of Tek Collect, Inc. I then looked them up by name in order to verify both the spelling and that they are a collection agency (the man I spoke with VERY briefly did at least seem polite and he DID immediately tell me the business name, which so many collection agency employees aren't/won't do, but I still wasn't about to stay on the phone with him regarding my ex-husband's bills).

I received another call today from Tek Collect, but this time the caller was using a different phone #:  614-321-9900. I did the same thing to identify this # as described above in order to confirm the caller represented Tek Collect, Inc. So anyone reading this can make the same informed decision how to handle calls from both of these #s.

Received a call from these people them directly afterwards redirected a call from a different # with same 4 0's at the end. No meagre was left no idea who it is. I have no delinquent accounts so these guys can go toot a horn for all I care.
