Caller asked for me by first name. Then tried to get me to donate to some disabled veterans charity. shamefull.

This phone number calls me, NEVER leaves any messages, & when I call it back there is a busy signal. I HAVE BEEN SCAMMED LATELY & THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS!!! I do not know how they do it, but I was looking for a house & these "type" of people will come out in many forms. I was really needing a home to rent & a man pretending to be a reverend on a mission overseas helping the poor & needy, really needed someone to rent his home while he was gone for 4 years, great price, great house, JUST ALL AROUND GREAT DEAL!!! Too good to be true. Basically, this "reverand" gave a line of "I'm sorry I didn't get back to you our daughter had an asthma attack & we've been in the hospital". These are really trusting & good lines. The sad part about all of this is I trusted this mans words & finally believed there may be some good out there still.... I was wrong. My husband researched the address multiple times & pretty much it came up as a home that was listed by a local reality company FOR SALE...it was just SOLD the day b4 I called. I'm thankful my husband was able to find out, but not soon enough of depth in conversation & having high hopes. He wanted a deposit wired & he'd mail the keys to the house, but what truly got us was he did NOT ask certain questions that a normal renter would ask & it gave red flags. Be careful anymore people are so scandalous it isn't even funny. Its a sad world knowing there is no one you can trust anymore.

Received a call from this number and when I answered a man asked to speak to my brother, who is deceased. When I said no and asked who this was he quickly said "no message, I'll try back." And then promptly hung up.

Caller asked for "Amy".  I replied he had the wrong # then he went on to say maybe I could help and asked for money for training for the local police dept.  2nd such call of this type, Ive blocked both #'s.
