Called 9 times today, wanting to speak to an employee here.  Said he was with a legal department but wouldn't identify company.  Told him we don't allow personal business calls to associates here but he kept calling back.  Didn't answer the last 7 times he called, so he started calling on what caller ID showed as being 052792771, whatever that is.  Massively annoying, whoever he is.

Automated caller said they were with "Card Services" and would like to offer a lower interest rate.  When I pressed "9" to connect to a live representative and requested my name be removed from their call list he was rude and gave me the number 1-800-847-2911 which also started out automated asking for my credit card number... I waited and finally got through to an actual person who said they were with VISA and was sympathetic about receiving this other call.  When I checked THAT number it appears it is also a scamming site.  Geesh!  I called the number on my VISA card and they are able to confirm ALL my information with just the last four digits of the card number and my zip code...  I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission through the National Do Not Call List.

They called and asked if "<my name> was there." I replied this is and they hung up.  Not sure if they are after identity.  I hope not.

Caller said they were verifying Yellow Pages information. Asked a whole lot of ID related questions, including e-mail address. I refused to answer most and finally hung up on them.
