Call from them said they were from publishers clearing house.

Got a call from the "Publishing Company" (red flag 1) that I was entered into a contest from my credit card company (red flag 2), they asked me to confirm my name and address which was correct. The contest was for $25k and a car, but for being a finalist I was "awarded" 48 months of magazine subscriptions. This is a scam. They will ask you to pay for one issue (red flag 3) and then charge you fees monthly that will eventually add up to over $1k. Credit card companies and banks do not give out your personal information, these people are crooks. Looks like Indiana is getting hit with the same scams found out in Cali: http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/3102410039

I receive a call from this number every day. I never answer. I'm going to my phone company bc its obviously a scam and its sooo annoying.

Our business got a call from this number today on a Sat morning before Memorial Day weekend. The lady wanted to speak to the owner. I told her he wasn't in, would she like to leave a message so he can call her back. She said, "No," she couldn't receive calls but that she would call back later. Then she wanted to know the owner's name. I didn't think that was any of her business since she didn't bother giving me her name or company's name. I just told her to keep calling and hung up on her. I called the number back and got a busy signal. The caller ID said, "MIDW READER SVC."

Keeps calling. No messages.
