The man on the other end of this number claimed he was sedgwick county sherrifs dept. and when asked why would they be calling he hung up

Dtr answered and it was sedgwick cty sherrif's deptmt wanting money for fund raiser/charity for themselves.

Man said SCPD is raising money for food basket and when I told him yes but I'll need to double check this isn't a scam he got mad and accused me of not wanting to help the needy and hung up before I responded. Hoping that the police department really didn't hire someone this rude to make calls.
