Caller said that I won a free $9,000 grant.  Told me to call back the Treasury Department at 315-605-2077 and give him some confirmation number.  The number came up unknown on my caller id.

just received a call at my desk and i work for the fed gov.  from the same people with the same like. however this guy had a super heavy african accent that it was hard to make out his words first time around. i took the number down and it was for the same number. so the gov chose me to get 9 thousand dollars based on a survey. there is no way it was me because i can not tell you the last time any body's survey crossed my mind. so im supposed to believe that im getting 9k for something i never did, just because i was chosen. secondly the fed gov will never contact anyone, written correspondence always occurs for contact. nor will the gov email anyone. such a scam.
