I received a message at my work number from an Indian gentleman (to put it nicely), who was extremely rude. The sound was broken up and sounded like it was from another country. He said he was from "law firm LLC" and that if I or my attorney did not call them back immediately, well good luck to me and it was unfortunate what will happen to me if I didn't call them back.  I have no idea who they are, I don't owe anyone money or have any past due bills or anything in collection. How did they get my work number and why are they harrassing me?  When I tried to call back, the phone just made a buzzing sound and I didn't get a live person or a way to leave a message.

I received a call at work today from a man with an Indian accent saying that I defaulted on a payday loan in 2008 which AACH is now sueing me for. He said I was going to be arrested on 4/19/10 and brought to court. I never took out a payday loan in 2008 but he had some correct information from recent (within the past 3 months) applications that I did fill out for payday loans. He attempted to verify some of this info which was correct until he said my bank account number. He was missing a digit which I neither confirmed or denied. I believe this is a scam because as mentioned above, I never took out this loan, my local courts are closed for Patriots Day and all the web sites I've checked say this is a scam or I can't arrested for nonpayment of debt. Also, I never received a bill, a notice to appear in court or similar items.

I received one as well - saying that only God can help me now.  Wish there was some way to stop this harrassment.  I do not oew anyone anything.  What is bothersome is the fact that they have alot of personal information.  Is there anything we can do to stop this!

daughter just got the call also I have been calling back and placing a identy alert on her credit. peaole are nuts and something needs to be done I can't wait to call in the morning with all the info I just received.
