Microsoft Windows Tech Support. Calls claimed to be Microsoft employees, with employee#'s, and claiming to know license# etc.  SCAM-SCAM-SCAM!!  This scam has been around a long time, and all over the internet.  They are good!  Don't fall for it.  Don't let anybody remotely connect to your computer!  Just hang up.  Had a bit of fun making them hold, playing dumb, and making them give me "proof" of address, phone#, IP address, license#, etc.  ALL LIES!  Just reported to the FTC, the REAL Microsoft, the national DNC list, and the state Attorney General.  Sadly, it was most likely a waste of my time--and won't help anyone from falling victim to these skeezer-scammers.  Oh well, did what I could with it... CallerID showed:  877-696-7786  callback# given: 315-370-7608  website: www.support31.us

Just received a call from 315-370-7608.  Informed me that my windows computer had hit their windows server with a virus incident and that they were technicians calling to help.  When I suggested that he may be a fraud, he hung up.  If folks could spend even 1/10 of the time they spend on devising scams focusing on ways to actually help people, this world would look a whole lot different.

a foreign sounding man said he was calling about my computer.  I said "what?" and he hung up.  Caller ID said Robert Johnson and the phone number listed was 1-315-370-7608.
