repeated phone calls of this and similar numbers

Got a call from this #

For the past week, I've been getting calls from unknown numbers with area codes all over the US, multiple times a day. This must be the same people, because they rang right after I ignored a call from a number that just came up as "0000000"
They never leave a message, but the one time I answered the phone it was an Indian guy trying to convince me that I had applied for a government grant and forgotten about it. It was a Saturday, so government offices weren't even open.

I asked him to clarify who he was and he hung up

Just got a call saying The government randomly selected me for blah blah blah. ....who knows what I didn't give her time to finish and told her to collect  from someone else and hung up! Dang scammers
