This number called our business yesterday at 1754 hours.  Caller ID said "Oswego NY."  Most scam calls we get from an alleged NY number are usually for business "loans."  Considering they called after normal business hours (but did not leave a message), I'm guessing they're spoofing the number and may actually be overseas or perhaps some clueless scam artist further west of us in another time zone, someone who apparently doesn't realize time zones exist.  Whitepages.com postings indicate it is a persistent spammer/scammer.

And they tried again, this time today at 1508 hours.  Looks like these idiots are going to be a real pain in the backside.  This time, I picked up the phone but said nothing.  The call disconnected after a moment.  Clearly it was a system waiting to hear a voice before it transferred me to the next available scam artist.  For the heck of it, I blocked my call information and called it back.  Boiler room background noise and some woman with a distinct accent thanked me for calling them back and "identified" the "company" as "Business Financing."  Yeah, that sounds like a real legit business all right.  As soon as I heard that, I told her what she can do with herself and blew my emergency whistle into the receiver.  I'm so sick of persistent scam artists cold-calling us about alleged business "loans."  What idiot would do business with a company that doesn't have a real name, an actual physical presence, and who cold calls you??

These idiots just had the temerity to call us AGAIN!  This time at 1525 hours.  I picked up the phone and said hello.  After a long moment, the same boiler room noise kicked in and some moron identified himself as Mike something-or-other.  Then he asked if the business owner was here.  I told him, "Stop f'ing calling!" and blew a whistle into the receiver.  Man, they are clueless and persistent!  I will blow that shrill whistle into the phone every time they call until they get the message that not interested means stop calling!  Morons!!

They hung up when I answered.
