Yes received numerous calls from this numbers-same as other posts, involving loans with no repayment.  I am going to proceed to saying things that are very ugly and rude so just a warning, but I have stomach cancer  odds are against me so for me to pick up the phone-not knowing if its hospitals, doctors offices, ect....and being bothered and aggrevated is damning. Every call its ether, mind you they say they are from the US government, Indian or Asian- that can not speak American English and thus can not even pronounce " United States" accurately. I have reported this number to serval agencies- which obviously has not created a solution, thus what else is suggested?  Does anyone have ideas on how to pursue this more? And have any idea's on recourse or retribution?
I can not block unknown numbers because the above reason. But for anyone who is involved in these calls and this scam- I say this to you: You are literally wasting my time which is precious. And for you to have no morals or any kind of decency- you should literally end your life now and reach your final destination-  hell. I have no compassion for dirt and that is what you are. If these people constantly call me and scam me- I am sick and dying, they have no thought on doing the same to your elderly parents, your dying sister, or mentally challenged friend, that worries me for them. So if anyone can help, i would appreciate it, thank you.

The people calling from this number are absolutely  rediculous. I recieved 3 phone calls in a row from this # (so naturally i assumed it was important) but since they didnt leave a voicemail i had no clue who it was. I answered on the 4th call that occured 20min later & it was some non-english speaking woman who was trying to offer me a loan or some other [***], & they don't seem to listen very well to the term "no thank you, & stop calling me". Scam! Dont bother answering!

Ms. Shepard, if you are getting these calls on your cell phone, there is an app you can download for free from your (Android) playstore, called Call Blocker. It allows you to block specific numbers from your call list by putting them on a "blacklist". Once added, that specific # doesn't ring your phone anymore and it doesn't allow the caller to leave a voicemail either. The problem is they have several different numbers, all show up New York, they call from so you have to make sure you add the # each time they call.
If you have an iPhone, just go do a search in your app store for call blockers. Most of them are free.
I hope this helps some. I am very sorry about your cancer. My dad passed away in 2009 from a heart attack but was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma just 2 weeks prior.

The same thing as others​ have said. I have received multiple calls a day for over 2 months. Today I tried to tell them they had the wrong #, the Indian woman proceeded to tell me she did not have the wrong # and when I asked who the heck she was, she hung up. Tried to call it back and it is just busy.
