some capital investment company?  Not sure if that is the exact name or not.  said that i spoke to one of their people over 1 year ago and he was following up.  I told him that i don't recall that conversation and then he hung up.  I suspect a scam as I am selling my home right now and have my info out there.  I have had other people attempt to scam via email, but not phone.

Some investment company claining to be from Miami---wrong area code for Miami

As soon as I said I'm not familar with the company they hung up.

Said he was from Crown Equipment and wanted to send me a Home Depot gift card.  He asked for my home address and hung up when I said I'd never heard of him or his company.

Who is this person?
