Your best bet is to contact your local police and file a report, then contact the Federal Trade Commission to file a report with them as well. Lastly you will need to contact Equifax and put a 90 fraud alert on your credit. They tried to do the same to me but I called the actual company and they confirmed they don't do business like that on-line, that you would have to come into their office.
I'm sorry this happned to you but hopefully you can minimize the damage. Also be sure you contact your bank to alert them and you might want to change all your financial information including cancelling all your cards and changing your bank account numbers.
Good luck.
