I recently got into a similar "Mystery Shopper" scam from the same "Company" from a Rosie Smith. First receiving this email out of the blue.

Dear Applicant,

"Your information for entry as a Mystery shopper on a part-time basis was received last week via a secured server in accordance to our online ads.

"We hereby confirm your entry as one of the prospective candidates for the role of Mystery Shopper Survey Agent. Your details have been forwarded to the appropriate quarter for further assessment.

You will be notified in 2 days time via email as soon as your first official assignment is on the way. Once a task has been assigned to you, procedures and instructions to aid you through the task comes afterwards.

Be reminded that delivery of this memo is automated on our system at
an interval stipulated by our analyst. Once your respond has been confirmed,you are automatically exempted from the next batches.

Kindly complete the information yet to be submitted;

Proceeded to my bank and as they told me it would take 1 business day to clear and according to Rosie I would have to complete the assignment on that day. meaning i would have to use my own money and wait for the money order to be cleared. after doing some research i found that these are scumbugs that use use fake checks and money orders that take the bank 10days to realize they are fake. leaving you with the $1900 to pay yourself. Some cases the banks have taken up to 6months to figure out the check /money order is fake.

purchase a money-pack card worth $1700 , sctarch the cards and send me the pin numbers via email.

This # comes from a David Cole supposed Mystery Shopper. He sends you a check (mine was $1950) minus your $50 from walmart, $200 to keep for yourself. the other $1550 is to be sent via Western Union minus any other fees. I called my bank when i got the check to verify funds before depositing and they said it was a Scam!! Becareful Dont deposit into your account. have your bank call and verify funds 1st.  The check came by FedEx from 350-784-7637 Gabrielle Zuirdema 23 Roxanne lane Pine Bush, NY 12566 also pkg give my address but listed another phone# 476-487-4675. Pasting a copy of the email i received:  The check is from TRANSOCEAN LTD P.O. Box 43212 Jacksonville, FL 32231 the bank is THE BANK OF NEW YORK MELLON GIVES ROUTING# 043301601 ACCT# 123 4108 (NOT VALID) and when i called the # 315-280-8485 it just goes to a voicemail.
