Rec'd call just now from this number. Man w/accent said I had been awarded a government grant in the amount of (& this cracks me up) exactly ($9,148.26) & I would absolutely never have to pay it back. I politely interrupted him and told him, first off, remove my number from your list & secondly, I am not an idiot that falls for these scams & to have a nice day.

I said "hello" after 10 seconds of silence - I said "who are you?" - he said he was calling about my "Windows Computer" - I said "I don't have one" (actually I have multiple pc's) - and I said if he called again - "I'd put a big hurt on him - and to take our phone number off their list". Goon byeeee!

-----I also heard that if you hold a number key down for a few seconds - it messes up their computer generated system. I'm going to try it next time.

Beheaded and burned at the stake??  I must disagree.  That would be waasaayyyyyy to  good for these rip off
SOB's, of course, "headed" by those Card Services [***].   You, my friend, are being too nice.

Too bad the damn govt won't get off their doff and do something about this.  Of course, I'm still not sure the
Do Not Call doesn't  list sell our numbers to these a**holes.

Saw this number on my Caller ID when I got home from work today. Other than the number 315-000-0000 the Caller ID only said "Name Not Found."  Would not have answered it even if I had been here. Promptly put this sucker on my blocked numbers list.  Hate this sort of crap. Reporting it seems to do no good.
