Same thing, no message. I too live in Edmonton Alberta. Who are these people and how can they be blocked.

Said they were calling from CCCS about a new bank act that could eliminate my credit card debt, press 1 to speak to someone that would explain how it benefit me.  I pressed 1, then nothing, just got disconnected.... now I'm concerned, should I have pressed anything?  I'm in Manitoba, Canada
