Well I just received a call and googled this number. I do have a Chace account and have fallen on hard times so my account IS in the negative. Has been a few months. I'm guessing this IS Chase then.

Well "Dani", you just go right ahead & deal with them then. Anyone else, with more than half a brain, would contact Chase on a verified number & deal with them directly.
Do NOT deal with ANYONE calling from this number! Call Chase back directly on a VERIFIED Chase number! Numbers can be spoofed. It doesn't matter if the number can be found to be an actual number belonging to a bank or an institution. Call the VERIFIED number back!

I can confirm this IS Chase bank everyone. I DID owe them monies on a closed account. They let a debit go through AFTER it was closed somehow. They wanted obscene fees due to the late fee or whatever and get this there's s late, "late fee". This was already confirmed on several statements that I received from Chase. I had been meaning to go deal with it. Googled the # and found this forum. I felt for this person being attacked on here for telling the truth! Anyways for what it's worth it's no scam.

CALL CHASE BACK DIRECTLY ON A VERIFIED CHASE NUMBER!   DO NOT TALK TO ANYONE WHO CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER!  DO NOT GIVE ANYONE WHO CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER ANY INFORMATION!
 Call Chase back! It's just as simple as that. Any number can be spoofed.
