Why cant our inept governments and phone co's stop this? Because 1 is too inept and disconnected from real people and phone co's benefit from your cellphone minutes being used up by this bull. And so BSers operating out of their mother's basement splash up phony numbers, and just screw and mess with everyone; welcome to the phone version of viruses.

So sick and tired of getting Americans calling me all the time. I live in Canada and you think, I am picking up. They gave up from one number and now, I am always getting this one. Wish, they would leave me alone. I am not going to pick up. Why are American telemarketers harassing Canadians? And you think, I am going to fall for your you won a cruise scam really?

my friend here thinks its aliens trying to contact us.......but why would they pretend to be from the states so stupid. i think its some sort of conspiracy with the president and all our governments just trying to [***] around with us. who knows might really be aliens.....cant wait for them to knock on my door ima blaze the [***] out of them and then try there weed out. hahah might make me float:)

I've won yet another cruise......these people must think people are as much idiotic as they are....who even believes this stuff in this day and age.....get real.  It doesn't matter if you're on the government do not call list they still ring. I just phoned my cell-phone server and told them to stop publishing or selling my phone number or I quit - I did that with Rogers two years ago and now Koodo are at it too. We are fast losing our rights as consumers.

Received a call to my business cell while in a meeting which turned out to be from this number which I did not pick up. Had it been a legitimate matter, the caller would have left a message for a call back but did not (which says it all).

For those who would like to complain about it to the CRTC (for which the name and not just a number is required, along with a Canadian connection), please note that a Google search for what it's worth turned up the following record as to the caller's provider, etc. but which, if correct to begin with, dates to 1994 such that it may well be outdated. If someone is able to get the name of the actual person or company, and trace it back in some way to Canada (if even an office, meaning they're attempting to pull an end-run around the law by using a MI number), then, that should do it. Can't wait for the block-technology we currently enjoy with respect to our email and other such communications including our home and office snail-mail boxes when it comes to unwanted spam to be adapted to our phones so as to be able to rid ourselves of all such and similar nonsense, too. Long over-due, and do so hope that it is coming soon. Meantime, for what it's worth, hope that this helps:
