I answered. Was asked 'is this Mr (lasthname). I asked 'May I ask who is calling' Line went silent. No dialtone - just silence.
So I hung up.
by the way, the fed has a web site to report certain types of calls.
1) telemarkers who do not have a 'no call list'
2) solicitation phone calls after hours
3) phone calls that have no one on other side, hangups, faxes
others as well
google for something like report harassing phone calls
