I answered the call. It said it was Google Local calling me about a Google Plus page I had set up and was asking for more information in regards to SEO.  Said they had tried to reach me other ways unsuccessfully. Asked what type of category was my website and what geographic location did my website best serve (New York or LA for example), to help increase search results for that area.

Another company offering to get me company to top of google search - for a fee of course.

My cell number is on the do not call, but that means nothing to these guys. A law without bite is useless. Blocking.

CID said "illegal scam".  Put the caller on hold, tried calling back and just came with a fast busy signal indicating an invalid number.  wtf
