Courtesy call from DTE.  Left 877 # for me to return call. I have not.

Same here. Said they are DTE courtesy call and left 877 number to call back. The 877 number does not match any of the DTE contact numbers. Not calling them back.

It is a scam , per DTE.  I got the same call and called DTE direct . They have no such number!

I called them back and they say they are DTE calling in my county to current customers to see if they want to buy the warranty for the appliances we have in our home. Although I turned them down, I know many people who do have their warranty and it is good, if it's what you're looking for or need.

Beware! It's definitely scam! They called saying it's DTE and to call them back at 877 554 2437. First of all DTE would never call from a 313 number, previously when I got DTE calls are from a robot and a number that matched DTE phone number. Second DTE has no reason to call you, if they want to remind you to pay your bills they will do it in a different way, especially if you are signed up for paperless billing (send you email reminders) DO NOT LET THESE SICK SCAMER GET YOU!
