Linda, I also heard the same thing and l believe it to be true. I never got but 1 o 2 messages on my lphone 5 that were scammers....now with iPhone 6s my phone is burning down with calls from every state... If that isn't bad enough, the perverts are now texting me nasty xxxx messages. I only know a few people so l know it's no one l know. Called Verizon, said they would look into it. Didn't sound too concerned about anything l had to say. All about money these days & selling our info on the open market!!!!

Didn't answer...hate all these annoying telemarketing phone calls on my cell now. Never was before but is now. I heard government gave telemarketers-scammers the ability to call all cell phones now. They are burning mine down from every state now!

Don't know where you got that one-unless you're one of those who thinks scammers are stupid enough to spend money for a list when they can just use an auto-dialer and find numbers for free
