just got a call from this number. no voice mail left.

Message saying my vehicle warranty was about to expire. Total garbage, as I have cars over 11 years old, and don't own a warranty. Calling back is an invalid number, so they are spoofing anyway. Don't trust them.

I forgot to mention. The call was automated. It said to press 1 to talk to someone, and 2 to be removed from the list. Wonder if pressing 2 adds you to more garbage calls?

Yes! It only verify's they have a live number! ROT: Don't pick up any number you don't recognize, don't push any numbers to get a live person or remove from list!
The best thing you can do is as quickly as you id the caller as one you don't know, pick it up and hang it up! Don't let it connect fully..
