I had several calls but I just answered today.  They say they are contracted out by "TTO research".  I told the caller I was googling it and then I was disconnected.  She wanted to know if I was following the presidential race.   I asked if they were profit or non-profit  and she said non-profit.   I wasn't able to verify via google and since she hung up (or the line died) I gave up.  I wish I would have asked what TTO stood for.

Sounds like BS to me!

Said it was a political survey and i put the phone in front of a speaker blasting music until he hung up.

i have gotten this call to all this week no one says a thing! i'm happy that i have looked the number up into the internet to find out who this is...

Got sveral calls (august 13  see above) with no one there when I answer so I hang up. They finally called again this time asked for me by name. Said they were a political research company - TTO Research. Wanted to know on a scale of 1 - 5 how close I watched the campaining and how sure was I to vote for John McCain. Then asked my age. Very nosey if you ask me. Usually I let them go through the speach then hang up. Figure I'd make them work for the call. The blow horn sounds like a good idea!

Got 2 calls today (9/16/08).
1st at 5:45pm (didnt answer) and the
2nd one at 8:32pm (answered) no response from the call so I hung up.
Kinda fishy...
