Guy with a British (maybe Australian, idk they sound similar to me) accent called for one of my maintenance guys, it was weird because the caller id said 443129457361 for the number and then when I transferred him it said 312-945-7361. So weird. He even knew my first name.

A British guy called and asked for "Ursula".  We have no one with that name and the caller seemed to realize he had the wrong number and apologized.

Phone# 443129457361 belongs to a legitimate firm named European Automation Ltd of 3 Parker Court, Stafford Technology Park, Stafford UK. It has a "coordinated" phone number based in Chicago IL (that explains the 312 area code, the number 44 is UK). European Automation Ltd supplies, repair and service exchange parts for the manufacturing industry.

Again, a British guy, I believe he said his name was John (pleasant enough guy), calling for my Purchasing Manager.

I put him through, though if he keeps calling too often I might have to ask my Purchasing Manager if he's even interested and start fielding calls. The last call was at the end of February so it doesn't appear to be a pesky caller, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt unless instructed otherwise.

This is EU automation, they call me here and there to see if we have any drives or servo valves that need rebuilt. If you don't want them to call you can ask politely and they will stop.
