I believe this is an attempt for obtaining personal info.

received call from this number, answered call and got no response. Called the number back and it rang once then went dead. very creepy.

Very creepy. I got a call, no message, called again, silence on the other end. Called number back and it rang twice and then went to a busy-like signal.
