This is pointless, but I'll try.
1) This is Toys R Us calling for your kids birthday.
2) Someone probably entered their number wrong and it turned out to be yours.
3) When I was young, I would do this kind of stuff to people all the time. You have no kids? You were probably a jerk to a less mature person who has your number and they added you. Be nicer.
4) Companies don't read these sites. Telling them to remove you has less value than shouting your displeasure at a mountain.
5) Actually read the "Do Not Call" list criteria. There are legitimate reasons a company can call you. You probably opted in from one of those stupid casino sites or curmudgeon forums you frequent.

I really love how people respond to the posts with holier then thou responses. What they say may be true in SOME cases, but not all. So stop nerd raging over people posting about calls from this number and get over yourselves.

You gave them your number, but did you give them your birthdate?  They don't ask for that. They ask, when kids join the kids club.

Giving your phone number to a cashier does not cause this call, unfortunately someone used your number or miss keyed when registering their child's birthday. The reason they ask for your number is to see trends in shopping and if you traveled to their store.

I wish it was Geoffrey calling with a birthday greeting. Instead, I received that "This is the IRS, we are filing a...blah...blah...blah" IRS doesn't call you to give you a heads up on you being sued...that is what USPS is for!!!
