Who dis

I received a call from this number about 7:30 this morning. A man with an accent (not sure from where) called saying he was given my number as family by a man that just had a car accident in front of his home. I repeatedly asked the man's name. Instead of answering the question the caller would respond by asking continuously asking if I had a brother or son. I played along and said "yes". I asked where they were calling from he reluctantly said "Chicago, next to Plainfield". I asked the color of the car and he told me it was silver. Once again he continued to ask the name of my brother or son. I said "Eugene". I then heard him ask someone in the background named John what the guys name was. All of a sudden I hear, "Eugene" from the distance. The man comes back to the phone and says "his name is Eugene ma'am." I said, "interesting, I don't know a Eugene" and hung up. I probably should have continued to play along just to see what they wanted but I had to leave for work.

They told me my son was an an accident and wanted money for his return worst 20 mins of my life.  I got the money and headed out the house and my son was across the street he said mom and i ran to him and told them what they said. He grabbed the phone and they never called back

I was called today 12/18/14, was told  a family member was in an accident and they needed money to call the ambulance.  They hung up.  I called back and they said what are you going to do now, call the police.  I did.  And it seems I found numerous complaints on this already!
